Algiz translates to the "Elk" card in my Enchanted Runes Oracle Deck. The original is a 16x20 acylic artwork on canvas. In the oracle, there is a difference in pulling this card upright or reversed. Esentially, this card is all about divine protection. Here is a further breakdown of the special card, Algiz:
Upright
The antlers of an elk stand tall as a protective barrier. Algiz upright represents a shield at work, as well as a connection to the divine. You are currently under the protection of higher forces, and it encourages you to remain vigilant and strong in the face of challenges. You have the inner resources and courage to face adversity and overcome any fears. Currently, you are on the path to achieving some of the goals that you have been so diligently working on, possibly with the help of outside trustworthy forces. Or this can be a sign that there will be new opportunities on the way. As this is the connection to spiritual and higher realms, you may be on the path of spiritual growth and enlightenment. Cut away these deceptions and any untruths. Defend yourself and your interests. Stand up for what you believe in and protect your boundaries. Take steps to protect yourself or your loved ones. Reversed Algiz, means there will be set backs. It also can mean an illness may come. Algiz is a rune that connects to higher forces. Now may be the time to seek spiritual protection and guidance. Whether from ancestors, your spirit guides, or other higher forces with your name of choice.

For example: Some of my works are 16"x24" and the classic size to print is 16"x20". If it doesn't crop out the highlights of the painting, I may choose to crop the 4 inches. Or if there is an important part of the painting being cut off, I may choose to search for an external printing service that can provide a special size and print the image on the 16"x24". Please be aware of these small changes!
