Berkana translates to the "birch" card in my Enchanted Runes Oracle Deck. The original is a 16x20 acylic artwork on canvas. In the oracle, there is a difference in pulling this card upright or reversed. Here is a further breakdown of this special card:
Upright:
Who is the Birch Goddess that holds the rune of Berkana so close? That is a debate all in its own. However, Freya feels closest to this rune. Her two cats that carry her chariot represent her appearance in Berkana. A rune of love, growth, sexuality, rebirth, fertility, nurturing and protection. This is a very feminine rune, as the shape represents the breasts of a nurturing mother. Much like a mother cares for her child, it may signify there is a supportive and caring influence in your life, or that you should provide such support to others. Berkana embodies the qualities of support, and the cycle of birth and growth. This rune brings forth development. It is a phase of expansion, whether in your personal life, relationships, or personal endeavors. This may be a fertile period for new ideas, projects, creating a harmonious home environment or perusing relationships. This rune may announce a birth, marriage, a new business, or the intertwining of two different mentalities with one common goal in mind. This rune is all about blooming no matter the area of question; in health, business, goals, family and relationships. Reversed There is a disharmonious event that is taking place. This may indicate a setback in development. There may be a feeling of stagnation and a strong lack of creative fertility. If you are trying a new business, the result may lack growth. In a relationship this may suggest a failure to move to the next level temporarily. In any event, regrettably, now is the time to receive help, even though it might be difficult to; with conceiving a baby, starting a business idea, experiencing failed investments, finding failure in achieving your personal goals, or to acquire spiritual growth. This is stagnation. There is a chance to flip this rune towards its positive attributes. Take the necessary steps forward to move and grow past your setback.

I will either crop the image to the best of my ability or adjust the size by a few inches to make sure nothing important is cropped. For example: Some of my works are 16"x24" and the classic size to print is 16"x20". If it doesn't crop out the highlights of the painting, I may choose to crop the 4 inches. Or if there is an important part of the painting being cut off, I may choose to search for an external printing service that can provide a special size and print the image on the 16"x24". Please be aware of these small changes!
